As part of your support agreement we install our standard monitoring software on your server. The monitoring agent works 24/7 to supply us with information relating to your server’s performance and often provides advanced warning of issues which could lead to costly downtime within your business.
Usually we will know about a problem on your server well before you, as these logs are available to our technical staff at all times of the day and night, and anything alarming will be promptly investigated.
|Dorset customer’s server went offline overnight due to a problem with a Windows update. The issue was noticed at 7.07am by one of our staff. The business owner was pleased to be contacted at home and made arrangements to have his premises opened up early so that we could take a look. We were on site at 8.33 and the server was back up and running well before our customer’s other staff arrived at 9:00.|
